THE MEDIATOR ROLE OF HAPPINESS IN THE RELATIONSHIP OF SINCERE BEHAVIOR AND JOB SATISFACTION IN NURSES

Öz

The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between sincere behaviors and job satisfaction in the context of nurses and to reveal the mediating role of happiness in this relationship. For this purpose, data were collected from 256 nurses working in hospitals located in the city center of Isparta and Burdur by using convenience sampling method and survey technique. The collected data was analyzed using the Jamovi 2.3.18 software program. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the sincere behavior of the nurses positively affected their job satisfaction and happiness. It was also revealed that happiness has an increasing effect on nurses' job satisfaction. The most important finding of the study is that happiness has a mediating role in the relationship between sincere behaviors and job satisfaction. Conclusion, it can be said that the sincere behavior of nurses in the environment they work reflects on them as happiness and thus improves their evaluation of the job in a positive way.

HEMŞİRELERDE SAMİMİ DAVRANIŞLARIN İŞ TATMİNİYLE İLİŞKİSİNDE MUTLULUĞUN ARACI ROLÜ

Öz

Bu araştırmanın amacı, hemşireler bağlamında samimi davranışların iş tatminiyle ilişkisini tespit etmek ve mutluluğun bu ilişkideki aracı rolünü ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, kolayda örneklem yöntemi ve anket tekniği kullanılarak Isparta ve Burdur kent merkezinde bulunan hastanelerde çalışan 256 hemşireden veri toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler Jamovi 2.3.18 yazılımı programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, hemşirelerin samimi davranışlarının, onların iş tatminlerini ve mutluluklarını olumlu şekilde etkilediği tespit edilmiştir. Mutluluğun da hemşirelerin iş tatminleri üzerinde arttırıcı bir etkiye sahip olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Araştırmanın en önemli bulgusu ise hemşirelerin samimi davranışlarının iş tatminleri üzerindeki etkisinde mutluluklarının aracı rolüdür. Sonuç olarak, hemşirelerin çalıştıkları çevrede sergiledikleri samimi ve içten davranışlarının onlara mutluluk olarak yansıdığı ve bu sayede işe dair değerlendirmelerini olumlu anlamda etkilediği söylenebilir.
