Abstract
Doç. Dr. Mustafa Bayter tarafından kaleme alınan “Bilgi Kaynaklarının Tanımlanması ve Erişimi RDA” başlıklı kitap 2021 yılında Hiperyayın tarafından yayımlanmıştır. Kitap temelde bilgi kaynaklarının tanımlanması, bilgi kaynaklarının tanımlanmasında kullanılan standartları (Anglo Amerikan Kataloglama Kuralları-AACR, Makinece Okunabilir Kataloglama, Machine-Readable Cataloging/MARC, Kaynak Tanımlama ve Erişim-RDA) ele almaktadır. RDA konusunun ayrıntılı bir şekilde ele alındığı bu kitapta, RDA uygulama örnekleri de sunulmuştur. Kitapta, bibliyografik kayıtların oluşturulmasında RDA’nın kullanımı ile ilgili yaşanan ya da RDA standardı kullanılmadığında yaşanabilecek muhtemel sorunlar irdelenerek konuyla ilgili önerilere de yer verilmiştir.

Abstract
This paper aims to review the book titled “Description of Information Sources and Access RDA” by Associate Professor Mustafa Bayter. The work consists of 8 chapters with the headings "Introduction, Description and Access to Information Sources, Transition from AAKK2 to RDA, Bibliographic Description with RDA to MARC Fields, Example of Bibliographic Descriptions Made with RDA, Problems Transition to RDA, Problems That May Arise from Not Switching to RDA, Conclusion and Suggestions". The book contains theoretical and applied information about the description of information sources. The book is a handy resource for understanding the importance of RDA, which has been established as a new standard for describing information sources in information centers and meeting the need for information about RDA. Researchers working on the organization of information, students of information and records management departments, managers of information centers, and personnel working in technical service units can benefit from the book.
