Abstract
Bu çalışmada 72 derecekarelik CFHTLS W1 alanına ait veriler kullanılarak, r$<$22 parlaklık sınırı altındaki eliptik galaksiler incelenmiş ve bunların içinden toplam 606 tane izole eliptik galaksi (IfE) belirlenmiştir. Bulunan IfE’ler parlaklık, renk gibi fotometrik özellikler ile Sersic indeksi ve etkin yarıçap gibi yapısal özellikler bakımından normal eliptik galaksilerle karşılaştırıldı. Yapılan incelemeler sonucunda IfE’lerin normal eliptik galaksilere göre daha mavi ve daha büyük oldukları görüldü. Çalışmamızda bulduğumuz IfE’lerin kırmızıya kayma dağılımları gözönüne alındığında, IfE’lerin normal eliptiklerden daha geç zamanlarda oluştuğu görülmektedir. IfE’lerin medyan kırmızıya kayması $z_{med,ife}=0.329$, normal eliptiklerin ise $z_{med,ell}=0.396$ olarak belirlenmiştir.
