Abstract
Günümüz siyaseti algılar üzerinden yapılmakta ve bu algıların
temsiliyetini kolektif kimlikler oluşturmaktadır. Farklı kültürlerin
farklılıklarını yitirmeden bir arda, yan yana ve iç içe yaşamlarını ifade eden
çokkültürlülük, farklı kimliklerin belirgin hale gelmesiyle birlikte siyasetin
gündemine oturmuştur. Ne var ki her farklı kolektif kimliğin talebi bir
diğerininkiyle çelişmektedir. Kamusal alana yansıtılan bu birbiriyle çelişen
taleplerin karşılanması çoğunca mümkün olmamakta ve birlikte yaşama
pratiği sekteye uğratılmaktadır. Bu bağlamda bu çalışma kimlik siyasetinin
toplumsal ve siyasal neticelerini tartışmaya açma amacını taşımaktadır.
