Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Türk-Fiat
traktörlerinin fren sistemleri fonksiyonel olarak incelenmiş ve Türkiye'deki
çalışma tecrübeleri sonucunda oluşan problemlerin çözümlenmesine çalışılmıştır.
Frenlerin oldukça fazla kullanımından sonra mekanik faktörler nedeniyle oluşan
balata aşınması, bozulması ve ısıl faktörler yüzünden oluşan yapma, deformasyon
problemlerine çözümler aranmıştır. Bu çalışmada, birçok deney yapılmış,
yardımcı aparatlar hazırlanmış, hesaplamalar, sonuç analizleri, tablo ve
grafiklerin hazırlanmasında bilgisayarlardan yararlanılmıştır. Daha önce
bilinmeyen fren balatasının sürtünme katsayısı belirlenmiştir. Aracın ve ilgili
fren parçalarının frenleme verimi ve yetenekleri hesaplanmıştır.
