Nehir yankolları sedimentlerinden mevsimsel bazlı nikel ve krom metallerinin taşınımı

Abstract

İçme suyu havzaları ve kaynakları gün geçtikçe daha değerli ve önemli olmaktadır. Bu sınırlı kaynakları korumamız ve geliştirmemiz gerekmektedir. Nehirlerin anakol su kalitesi üzerine yankollar üzerinden çeşitli etki ve kirlilik birikimleri olabilmektedir. Çalışma alanı olarak seçilen Melen Nehri, milyonlarca insanın gelecekteki su ihtiyacını karşılayacak önemde ve lokasyondadır. Çalışma boyunca nehir ve yankolları belirli sediment kirleticileri (nikel ve krom) tüm mevsimlerce izlenmiştir. Yankolların her birinin kendine özgü kirletici birikimi olduğu ve anakolu büyük ölçüde etkilediği sonuçları ortaya çıkarılmıştır.
